Remain active for the rest of your life.

You want to remain active for the rest of your life.  You want to continue to play golf, tennis, pickle ball.  You want to continue to play with your kids and grandkids.  You want to go skiing, jogging, swimming and hiking.

The Problem

What starts as foot pain or stiff joints in your 50’s can turn into feeling less steady on your feet later on.   One fall can result in serious injury or even death.

A Solution

Exercise… our bodies should function as well oiled machines.  You have to move it or lose it.  Movement helps hydrate the tissues and joints creating balance.

Commit to the Plan

The Balance Movement offers easy access to exercise videos to keep you moving every day.  These routines are a quick, safe and balanced way to strengthen, stretch and realign the whole body to keep you balanced and active for the rest of your life.

My name is Beth Sterne and I’ve taught Pilates for over two decades and have maintained a very active life into my 50’s.

I created The Balance Movement because when I turned 50, I developed foot pain and noticed that my joints were a little achy and stiff.  Then, I started to hear the same complaint from other middle agers.  Then,  I started to hear the older crowd complain about their fears of falling.

Well, it is all related.  As we age, our muscles, tissues and joints start to lose flexibility and hydration.  We need to move our bodies in an aligned way so we can rehydrate our muscles and connective tissue improving our proprioception and balance.

I am happy to say that because I practice these balance exercises everyday, my foot pain is gone.  Not only that, I am a couple of years over 50, and I’ve started jogging again… and I play pickle ball 5 times a week.  I am excited to share these exercises with you.
